The sidecut consists of a smaller turn radius in the tip that works that in conjunction with a larger turn radius in the tail, creating a directional ski that is stable going straight, but will easily carve once the turn is initiated and the ski is on edge.
The rocker profile and tip shape are combined into one progressively changing elliptical arc, which allows the tips to plane faster in powder, deflect less in variable snow, and helps the effective edge running within the rocker length to engage in a more natural, effortless way.
The Wrenegade Series, featuring our all mountain Freeride Rocker Profile in two waist widths, offers traditionally directional options that have the responsiveness you need and the stability you trust. Built to take a beating, our skis have full length carbon fiber stringers, 100% bamboo cores, and UHMW sidewalls alongside the thickest bases & edges money can buy.
Fast as ever for 2020, the Wrenegade 96 is an all mountain rocketship. Our Freeride Rocker profile improves float in soft snow, while the thinner 96mm waist and Bi-Radius sidecut ensure edge hold and intuitive control in firmer conditions. Truly in a class by itself, it isn’t your average carver - point ‘em and go.
