The sidecut consists of a smaller turn radius in the tip that works that in conjunction with a larger turn radius in the tail, creating a directional ski that is stable going straight, but will easily carve once the turn is initiated and the ski is on edge.
The rocker profile and tip shape are combined into one progressively changing elliptical arc, which allows the tips to plane faster in powder, deflect less in variable snow, and helps the effective edge running within the rocker length to engage in a more natural, effortless way.
The Wrenegade Series, featuring our all mountain Freeride Rocker Profile in two waist widths, offers traditionally directional options that have the responsiveness you need and the stability you trust. Built to take a beating, our skis have full length carbon fiber stringers, 100% bamboo cores, and UHMW sidewalls alongside the thickest bases & edges money can buy.
Solid as ever for 2020, the Wrenegade 108 is the stiffest ski we make for west coast directional chargers. Our Freeride Rocker profile provides the best float and maneuverability without overpowering the pilot, and our Bi-Radis sidecut allows intuitive command and control. Truly in a class by itself, it isn’t your average carver - point ‘em and go.
