• BALSA/FLAX
  

  Balsa is an exceptionally light hardwood. Laminated vertically together divided by strips of woven flax (also known as linseed), to provide additional torsional and compression strength. Lighter than Poplar/Ash but more expensive.
• DUAL RADIUS SIDECUT

  Borrowed from world-cup race skis, two different radii on the one ski - a tighter radius forward of the boot centre coupled with a 20% larger sidecut behind - increases the edge-to-edge responsiveness so you can carve short turns whilst retaining high speed stability and control through the tail of the ski.
• POPLAR WITH ASH STRINGERS
  

  Our standard core material. Poplar is a medium-weight, damp, vibration-absorbing softwood. Ash is a heavier hardwood that compliments the Poplar by increasing stiffness, responsiveness and providing a solid base for the binding screws.
• SANDWICH/MICRO-CAP CONSTRUCTION

  A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip and edge hold. Sidewalls protect the sides of the sandwich core, and increase a ski's torsional stiffness and therefore edge control and pop. Added micro-cap increases the durability of the topsheet.
• TRANSITION ZONES

  Blended transition zones" use complex curve geometries where both positive/negative sidecut and where rocker/camber meet to make turn initiation fluid yet the whole ski more stable and controllable in all conditions.
