• UVO (Ultimate Vibration Object)
  

  UVO - Ultimate Vibration Object - Völkl впервые применили в сезоне 2013/2014 в моделях Racetiger RC UVO, Racetiger SC UVO и Code UVO. Основное назначение этой технологии - снижение вибраций лыжи при езде по неровной поверхности. Визуально UVO - это «нашлепка» в районе носка лыжи и по сути является дальнейшим совершенствованием системы MODmonic от K2. Система свободно закреплена и имеет эффект «плавающей массы», которая движется в направлении, противоположном вибрации, создавая гасильные колебания. Как утверждают в Völkl применение такой технологии позволили сделать лыжи легче, не потеряв при этом в стабильности и хватке кантов.

Compared to the other Racetiger SC models there is mainly one thing missing: weight. Thanks to the specially developed Full Sensor wood core Light and carbon instead of steel reinforcements the Carbon version is over 200 g lighter than the regular model. Overall the Racetiger SC Carbon features the exact same riding qualities like the other SCs but it not only is lighter, it also feels lighter without any loss of control, especially during turn initiation.
