The novel novel CNC machined core design that incorporates 3 woods ( Bamboo , Poplar and Paulownia ) – is optimized for more torsional rigidity in a carbon semi cap design. We chose carbon, as its flex properties out-perform conventional fiberglass and Kevlar designs.
We are incredibly confident in our skis. We have spent numerous years finding the best resins for skiing so with every ski we proudly stand behind the quality not just when you receive it from the shipper but a full year of use. If our skis fail you during the first year you ride them we will send you another pair free. All we will ask of you is a short video telling us what happened, pictures of the skis and have you send them back to us to be analyzed. We are determined to produce an incredible jaw-dropping product that not only skis great but is built to last.
Carbon is Better: The advantage of using pure carbon over traditional fiberglass ski designs is usually measured in pounds saved on each ski. But it should not be limited to just weight savings.
The Duchess is our specially formulated Full Carbon women’s ski, it is based on our Noble all mountain free ski – a charging ski for a dame! The Duchess is even lighter than the Noble making for easier turns and accents wile still having plenty of “pop”. Unlike other skis these have been designed with a rider having a lower center of mass. The core and bracing system have been redesigned for women wanting a unique charging ski. Key features of the ski include an hefty camber that lets you power through turns on any terrain and a slim rocker that gives you the benefits of a rocker but with early snow engagement on quick turns giving you more edge control. At 90 mm underfoot this is a proper charging freeski with surprising stability, all thanks to the unique 3 wood core and carbon bracing system. Like all Templar skis this ski was initially designed using Finite Element Analysis to fine tune the ski design and includes a highly torsionally stable semi cap design that improves the ski’s durability.
