• BASE P-TEX
  

  We use exclusively top quality sintered bases with high molecular density. We use 3 different P-Tex ( 2000 / 4000 / 5000 ) bases throughout the range which are carefully chosen to match the individual ski.
• EDGES
  

  We reviewed the way we use our different edges throughout the entire range, with a focus on increasing durability of the skis that get the heaviest use. We’ve done this by varying the thickness of the edge along the length of the majority of the skis. The touring and free-touring ranges now benefit from a wider edge in places to help resist impacts associated with poor snow cover. The only skis with a completely straight and thinner edge profile are the competition touring range for weight-saving reasons. The edges are in 3 distinct widths; 1.8mm, 2.0mm & 2.4mm.
• FIBER (MLT - MULTIIAXIAL LIGHT TECHNOLOGIE)
  

  We have developed this year a new material from a combination of classic fibers woven with complex tri-axial carbon fibers. This new material is used throughout the touring and free-touring ranges (MLT by MOVEMENT SKIS), with the aim of improving the durability of the skis at the same time as minimizing weight.
• TWIN ROCKER
  

  The Twin Rocker has an exaggerated length and height of rocker on both the tip and the tail which allows the ski to pivot easily and float effortlessly in powder. The ski still has a good contact zone in the center with plenty of edge to keep grip and maintain stability at speed.
• X-SERIES (TPT TECHNOLOGIE)
  

  All of our MOVEMENT experience & expertise is used in this construction. Only the best materials are used, but the key to this technology remains a closely-guarded secret!

The ALP TRACKS represents the pinnacle of our technological advances in this segment. Developed with our experts in the Swiss Alps, the ALP TRACKS 84 has a modern shape with a rocker at the tip and tail. This shape allows quick and effortless pivoting. It is constructed of a combination of a Karuba wood core, and a mix of high density carbon fibers and an internal titanium plate reinforcing the binding area. The light cap ABS sidewall is placed in the middle of the ski so that it absorbs all vibrations and guarantees optimal grip. As this process demands a high level of precision, all the cutting and molding is done by hand. The PTex 5000 composition base allows for a unique and exceptional glide as well as a perfect transition between different types and temperatures of snow. ALP TRACKS 84 is an exceptional product.
