The sidecut blends arcs of three distinct radii from tip to tail for all mountain versatility. Starting from the tip of the ski, the first third of the sidecut radius is tighter for effortless turn initiation, the arc then opens up slightly until midsole where the radius increases again for hucking those big lines providing exceptional stability at high speed.
The full length, traditional sidecut coupled with a carbon fiber backbone gives the Tubby exceptional edge hold on hard snow. Originally built for park skiers transitioning to big mountain jibbing, the Tubby has successfully crossed lines. This big boy is for playing in the everywhere.
