The sidecut consists of a smaller turn radius in the tip that works that in conjunction with a larger turn radius in the tail, creating a directional ski that is stable going straight, but will easily carve once the turn is initiated and the ski is on edge.
The rocker profile and tip shape are combined into one progressively changing elliptical arc, which allows the tips to plane faster in powder, deflect less in variable snow, and helps the effective edge running within the rocker length to engage in a more natural, effortless way.
Based upon the long-respected Caylor platform, we are happy to introduce the Jeffrey Series. Comprising all that we’ve learned in developing wide, powder-jib skis, the Jeffrey 114 and Jeffrey 122 offer the ultimate soft snow ride for those looking to turn the mountain into their playground. Both models feature our Bi-Radius Sidecut, resulting in a playful ride that doesn’t hook or catch in variable snow.
The Jeffrey 114 represents the ski that to ON3P is the perfect, everyday west coast jib ski and most of us at ON3P expect it to be the ski of choice for all but the hardest or deepest days up on Mt. Hood.
When the snow gets deeper, the Jeffrey 122 is up to the task and provides the best float and deep snow performance of any of our all-mountain jib skis.
