The Ullr is an entirely new shape for Praxis Skis. Featuring a spoon-shaped, surf-inspired reverse-sidecut tip, point this exciting new ski where you want to go and it will guide the way. Great for busting through chop or surfing across smooth powder, unhindered by windblown or heavy snow. This tip gradually falls away into a very nice 24-meter sidecut, making this smaller turn radius great for railing carves on groomers and makes the ski easy and quick to turn edge to edge. The tail flows into a slight pinner, which allows the ski a quicker release in soft or manky snow. The sidecut running length of this skis is short enough and the turn radius large enough for superior performance in powder...This is one of those rare models that sacrifices almost nothing in its quest to conquer the entire mountain.
It’s no secret that the guys involved with Praxis Skis love their fat boards in the deep stuff, however, some days you just don’t need them. Some days you simply want to be able to float on top but also carve a quick turn on groomers. In the end, it’s difficult to complain about a lighter, more manageable ski that still excels in powder. And, If skiing in deep snow is new for you, this ski will make powder skiing easier and help you understand why so many people give up their nine-to-fives in search of those pure powder turns that become so addicting...Trust us, they’re addicting!
