T-700 Unidirectional Carbon Fiber provides excellent bending stiffness without adding significant weight. The lightweight carbon fiber also returns energy more quickly than fiberglass, giving the skis a more lively feel.
Hyrbid skis use a combination of triaxial weave fiberglass in conjunction with full layers (not stringers) of unidirectional carbon fiber. Our jib skis utilize this hybrid layup to allow for a softer, more forgiving flex while maintaining the weight savings and pop of carbon fiber.
The Layzrblaydz are a fiberglass, symmetrical twintip designed for pow jibbing while also offering a stable enough platform to send some big mountain lines. At 115 mm underfoot with rockered tips and tails the Layzrblaydz float both forwards and backwards with ease. The light camber underfoot helps you through the icy crud on the way back to the lift. The dual inflection ski profile and 3/4 wrap edges reduce weight in the tips and tails allowing for easier spinning. The low profile tips reduce chatter when sending it. The Layzrblaydz are equipped with thicker, 1.8mm sintered Durasurf 4001 series base and durable 2.5mm edges to fend off core shots from those pesky hidden rocks.
