The 990 series is a pure carbon fibre (lightweight) freeride touring ski concept. Fundamentalisme has a massive wooden core (ash and poplar, no air channels or foam), still we have managed to scrape the weight down with 25% compared to a traditional ski of it's size. This is because of our pressed-to-shape core and a carbon fibre prepreg specially develloped and produced in our composite workshop. The bases are extra thick, high-graphite content (black), with a subtle logo in the tip. The binding area is reinforced. The skis have a 105mm waist and the sidecut radius varies from 25m (175) to 30m (195). The skis are symmetrically tapered and rockered in both tips. The graphics are as functional as possible, packed with useful information- from first aid to avalanche awareness tips.
