The 1080 Lab 1080 has been developed specifically for use in snowparks, our objective being to guarantee improved performance. Beforehand, our original 1080 model covered a range of terrain uses - snowpark or no snowpark. The new 1080 Lab 180 is turning Freestyle around. Our Freestyle star, Candide Thovex has already been cutting some major moves in snowparks thanks to this little beauty : it was with this ski that he won the superpipe at the 2003 X Games. This ski has found its fans on the other side of the pond too : CR Johnson is a confirmed 1080 Lab 180 addict. In fact, both Candide and CR chose the rasta and camouflage-style design of the promodels which will be unveiled for the first time ever at the 2004 X Games. In order to ensure maximum grip in the acceleration stages, the structure of the 1080 Lab 180 is very similar to that of a racing ski. Its racing base guarantees an optimal gliding movement while gathering momentum and more power while in the air. It has specific side cuts facilitating frontside and backside tricks while fakie fans are sure of a sound landing.
