The new 3D light cap ABS sidewall is unique in the way that the ABS runs through to the wood core of the ski and works also as a form of reinforcement. This system also offers a weight gain over the classic CTS which why it is integrated in to the Free Touring and Freeride ranges.
The Light Rocker tip has a grading from 6 to 12 depending on the length of the tip, all of which give great absorption of uneven terrain and variable snow conditions. Entry in to the turn is super easy and progressive with these tips. The camber of the center section of the ski and the shape of the tail guarantee stability and edge grip.
The NEXUS is our new free touring ski for women. Weight and performance were our prime concerns when designing this model. The balancing of these two parameters perfectly allowed this ski to offer incredible downhill skiing sensations without compromising the ability to travel uphill. The 161 cm ski weighs in at only 1100 grams; the NEXUS is a really light touring ski. At 88mm at the waist, this ski is both versatile, easy to ski and very comfortable, thanks its rocker tip and its modern shape.
Using Karuba wood core, careful choice of fibers and light cap ABS sidewall (CTS LIGHT) give the ski an excellent edge grip and control. All these properties make the NEXUS a unique ski, perfectly adapted to free touring.
