Matte EC4060 topsheets require no lacquering saving around 100gm / pair, and reduces the use of not-quite-environmentally friendly lacquer. It also shows through the natural structure of the underlying laminate layers.
Our standard core material. Poplar is a medium-weight, damp, vibration-absorbing softwood. Ash is a heavier hardwood that compliments the Poplar by increasing stiffness, responsiveness and providing a solid base for the binding screws.
Used on 90% of our skis, silkscreen printing provides bright, strong colours that help our skis pop off the walls in-store. Unlike the sublimation process used by many of our competitors, very little waste is created using this method, and water-based inks are used to reduce environmental impact.
Tip & tail rocker with varying amounts of camber underfoot gives maximum versatility and float off-piste.
The symmetrical construction of the Candide 1.0 is ideal for an all-mountain freestyle skier. Users can enjoy buttering up a storm thanks to a lively poplar and ash wood core and a forgiving rockered tip and tail. Carbon reinforcement and thicker edges make for a durable ride, and stability is exceptional, due to 5 mm of camber underfoot and the aforementioned sturdy ash in the wood core. Whether you’re dipping through the trees, screaming down a groomer, or crushing the park, the 1.0 is a great option.
